The Netherne Parent & Toddler Group. Tuesdays in the Village Hall. 10am to 12 noon

Netherne Cricket Club – Member of the Surrey Downs Cricket League, offers playing and social memberships to village residents.
Playing Memberships – only £50 for the first year; Family Social membership £25

Local Churches – Netherne is in the parish of Chipstead and our local C of E Church is St Margaret’s Church, Chipstead, a short distance from Netherne. St Aidan’s, in Coulsdon, is the closest Roman Catholic Church.

St Margaret’s Church is located on the Hooley – Chipstead boundary, a 20 minute walk (5 minute drive) from Netherne. (From the Hooley traffic lights on the Brighton Road proceed up Star Lane to the brow of the hill and turn left for the church.)

St Aidan’s Parish RC Church is located at the junction of Chipstead Valley Road and Portnalls Road in Coulsdon. (Filter left at traffic lights on entering Coulsdon from Netherne, and left again at the Post Office traffic lights.)
Mass- daily at 10am also Saturday 6pm; Sunday 9 and 11am.

Library Service – A mobile library carrying a choice of over 2,000 books is provided by Surrey County Council Libraries. The vehicle with its distinctive livery visits Netherne, parking near the shop, from 10.05 am until 10.25 am, on alternate Thursday mornings. The service is free, but documentary proof of address is needed to join the library. The vehicle has a powered lift for wheelchair users.
